At Loch Sealg Designs, each piece is handcrafted jewellery, ensuring that every item is unique. I take great pride in using recycled metals, primarily 925 Sterling Silver,
which I use to create beautiful pieces inspired directly from the rugged,
wild beauty of the Outer Hebrides.
The process is a labour of love which begins with a plain sheet, wire, or tube of recycled silver or gold, which I transform using traditional techniques with my tools and hands right here in my wee island workshop in Lemreway on the Isle of Lewis.
In Scottish Gaelic Sealg (Sh-el-ag), means Hunt. Loch Sealg is a sea loch on the east coast of Lewis and has views over to the Isle of Harris, Shiant Isles, mainland Scotland
and the Isle of Skye.
